I have been around a few decades and have always been in front of the trends and in many cases have helped to create and steer the trend - particularly SMSFs in Australia - which now exceed more than $1 trillion in assets and also Family Wealth Protection - a set of proprietary strategies to ensure wealth is protected for a family's bloodline for generations. It is hard enough building wealth only to see it go down the drain through expensive litigation, divorce or de-factor separation proceedings or in Australia through contested Wills and estates. Next up is AI using voice activation and anti-brain aging.
Family Wealth Protection
Dad showed me the light on this one and since 2016 it has been at the forefront of how I advise. If there is the slightest chance that your family wealth will be dissipated by predators or creditors - including those inside the family then you need help. 50% of all Wills are contested and average legal fees if the case goes to court is $400,000+
SMSF
If you are not in an SMSF then you are not in the wealth creation game in Australia. It is the most protected and most tax efficient structure available to families in Australia. My first love and still love advising on SMSFs - particularly for members of retail and industry super funds.
Anti-Brain Aging
My grandmother had Alzheimers for 12 years and my father dementia for 5 years. It is an epidemic and I spend a lot of my valuable time building solutions to help people with brain fog, pre-dementia or who want to reverse the aging of the brain. I have seen some of the wealthiest people in the world suffer this tragedy - because they left it too late.
AI
I tell people who listen, that as far advanced as I am in AI, I am still on the beach running hard from the tsunami that is coming to our society. There is no turning back and all professions will be decimated and this will have a huge impact on financial markets and asset holdings. Our governments can't even get a broadband policy right so you have to fend for yourself. But for an entrepreneur it is the best thing to ever happen to me - just have to be in front and ride that wave!
